Undoubtedly one of the best attractions in the southern region of Costa Rica
(Truly one of Costa Rica's natural jewels). There are two beautiful waterfalls that fall into a canyon approximately 200 feet wide surrounded by primary rainforest and over 50 acres of reforestation. The upper tier measures 135 feet and the lower tier 60 feet. Both cascade into a natural pool measuring over 10,000 square feet. Access to the falls is by horseback. The pleasure of your journey will be combined with a spectacular visual experience and the opportunity to swim and relax in Nauyaca's pure crystal waters. In addition, you will enjoy delicious home cooked meals and the chance to observe many animals, flowers and mountains that the region has to offer. We are only 10 minutes from Dominical Beach on the road to San Isidro de El General, Costa Rica.

The tour...Your unforgettable tour adventure begins with a ride on horseback from the office along the road to Dominical Beach to "Lulo's House", where we'll treat you to a warm welcome, a delicious country-style breakfast and down-home hospitality. During the meal, Lulo will tell you a little history of Nauyaca Tourist Center.

Nauyaca falls are formed by two beautiful cascades that tower 150 ft. and 65 ft. above sparkling, 20 ft. deep pool with 3.000 sq. ft. of surface area.The falls are the center piece of Nauyaca Tourist Center, which features a small lodge, dressing rooms, campsite, sanitary services with potable water, a 45 acre wooded area reforested with native species and 50 acres of tropical rainforest. An extensive network of trails offers excellent viewing of tropical plants, trees, animals and birds. Tours aboard strong, healthy horses are avaiable every day (starts at 8:00 a.m.) and include regional guides and a country style breakfast and lunch. No vehicle access to the falls, but to the office out up in the main road.. We're conveniently located close to both Dominical Beach and San Isidro de El General.
