EL GENERAL RIVER
Take part in an exciting 3 days whitewater rafting adventure on the General River, which is known as one of the best rivers in the world because of its environment. The General River is comparable to the Toloumne in California and the Middle Fork of the Salmon in Idaho. The General River in addition to offering a great variety of flora and fauna provides 68 miles of raftable water, classes III, IV, and V.
From any of the hotels in the San Isidro de El General area we will pick you up. After having breakfast in downtown San Isidro, we will take you to where this exciting rafting experience will start. Once in the river we will go for approximately 19 miles each day. Camping equipment is located at each resting area and our boatmen will always be ready to serve your needs and make your adventure unforgottable. During your journey you will have the opportunity to observe a wide variety of flora and fauna, sugar cane farms, fruit and coffee plantations and more.
